Everytime I sit down with my clients and go through their website strategy, I always tell them how important it is to have an “about” page so that their readers can get to know more about them before dealing with them.
Today, more than ever, you must build a rapport, a relationship, trust and credibility with your clients before you try to sell to them. People only do business with other people who they know, like and trust.
However, when it comes to writing an about page for my own personal blog, I found it quite difficult. After all, it’s MY blog, and I’m writing about ME. Fact is, I can pretty much write ANYTHING, and you wouldn’t know which part is true and which part is not.
So instead of the generic “look how good I am” sort of spiel, I am going to direct you to some external sites that talk about me and then you can judge for yourself via a 3rd party.
